Point the sharp end of scissors on a downward position
To turn on the laser light, push the small button on the right side of the scissors
Make a mark on the opposite side of the paper or fabric or whatever that you are cutting
Lay your material on a flat work surface and rest bottom blade of scissors on the surface
Align the laser with the mark on the opposite side while you are cutting
