TRADITION GROUND IN STONE: This organic shade-grown tea from the tencha leaf is stone ground into a fine powder to be whisked into hot water. A smooth cup with no astringency and a vegetal sweetness is produced. Because the whole leaf is consumed, it provides more of the benefits that green tea has to offer
STEEPING INSTRUCTIONS: Hot: use ½ to 1 tsp of powder in a bowl/cup and add in 6oz of steaming water. Mix with a whisk or hand frother and blend for 1 to 2 mins until smooth. Cold: blend ½ to 1 tsp of powder to 8oz of cold water or milk and pour over ice to enjoy as a chilled beverage.
